Ø Purpose of Position
The BNI Manager is responsible for supervising the department in charge of building and infrastructure management, technology and maintenance.
Ø Major Responsibilities
BNI MANAGER: as the job title indicates, plays a strategic role in allocating CTCD & IVS tasks and managing his team.
Market and produce the areas of the service offering Carry out and manage the activities under his/her responsibility Manage, lead and coordinate the teams assigned to him/her Development and operation of B&I for Cameroon, Eq. Guinea, Chad, CAR, based in Cameroon Contributes to the strategy of the Agency/Directorate Responsibility to correct NCRs and address Client’s claims His/her manages the occupancy and efficiency of the production. The manager is accountable to the profitability of the BU Participates in the drafting and implementation of the entity's plan Defines the annual action plan and associated budget for the Directorate Contributes to the development of the business / projects Takes part in sales meetings leading to sales actions and/or offers Carries out, or arranges for the carrying out of, actions to complete the plan Draws up offers or arranges for them to be drawn up within the limits of his/her delegation. Ensures the quality of assignments/projects Appoints project managers and/or participants according to their skills and qualifications. Carries out or arranges for the carrying out of assignments sold by its department and services entrusted to it as part of internal subcontracting or national contracts Ensures that assignments are invoiced Monitors compliance with contractual deadlines and commitments to external service providers Negotiates the department's annual targets with his/her superiors. Draws up the budget in line with objectives, ensures that it is properly implemented, analyses variances and takes corrective action Ensures compliance with QHSE-Risk Management standards Habilities Ensures compliance with procedures and implements the Bureau Veritas Group's ‘QHSE-Risk Management’ system in his/her department. Takes corrective action Proposes to his or her superiors and to the persons concerned any changes likely to improve the QHSE and Risk Management of services. Ensures that all employees understand the QHSE objectives and their role in the performance of the ‘QHSE-Risk Management’ system Ensures that employees have the required up-to-date training and medical check-ups Reports to the Managing Director.Ø Qualification and Experience
Education: 5 years ‘higher education in Civil Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or Environmental Sciences, with 3 years’ managerial experience. Experience: 5 years' experience in a similar position, involving the management of teams and budget centres. IVS experience is an added value. Perfect command of the Office suite. Good writing skills. French and English speeking Skills & Qualities :Results-oriented
