Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Acting as a Fiduciary to hundreds of captive insurance companies for their cash and invested assetsOversee, monitor, and manage cash position of captive insurance companies to meet minimum cash requirementsFacilitate cash movement into and out of captive bank and investment accounts, including bill payments to vendorsMonitor individual captive insurance companies’ investment portfolios to ensure they comply with Company Investment Policy, as approved by RegulatorsOversee monthly download of all cash and investment statements and annual K-1s for alternative investmentsAssist with opening and closing of cash and investment accounts, acting as an authorized signor on the accounts, and maintaining proper account documentationAssist with completion and submission of subscription agreements for private placements and maintaining proper documentation for all forms of alternative investmentsMonitoring transfers of cash between intercompany accounts such reinsurance premiums, funds held escrow accounts, and premium taxesPrepare annual premium tax filings to each domicileManage and monitor collateral requirements with external fronting companiesManage and monitor funding requirements with third party claim administratorsIssuing dividend and dissolution payments to series members upon Regulatory approvalIssuing claim payments to InsuredsOversee and manage issuance of annual Forms 1099-NEC for all captives to ensure compliance requirements are metMaintaining strong working relationships with banking and investment partnersConfirming bank transactions with financial institutionsTime ManagementDetail OrientedCommunication SkillsAptitude for NumbersQuantative SkillsRequirements and Qualifications:
BS degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred)5+ years accounting/finance experience in a relevant industry5+ years’ experience in the captive industry (preferred)Thorough knowledge of banking procedures and processesAwareness of business trendsPhysical Demands and Work Environment
