One California (https://youtu.be/RrPuiSnALJY?si=pvQgPZ6ZWZM60TPV) **Responsibilities** **Job Description** Provides leadership, direction and clinical and operational supervision of patient care for the Cardiac Cathertization Lab patient population and assigned staff. Demonstrates responsibility for quality and care management improvement initiatives and implementation and maintenance of laboratory standards. Acts as the leader and role model for professional practice conducted in the cardiac catheterization laboratory and demonstrates responsibility for standards development and staff education. **Key Responsibilities** + Coordinates and evaluates the daily operations of the department (staffing; acuity; budget; supplies clinical outcomes). Monitors and oversees charge and charge reconciliation. Participates in the recruitment and retention of department employees (open FTEs; turn over rates). + Supports hospital operation effectiveness and effectively communicates with staff. Promotes and facilitates patient education and staff development in department. + Performs annual and ongoing performances appraisals of department employees based on job descriptions generic and unit structure standardsprotocols procedures and unit based performance standards. + Utilizes technology procedures protocols standards and interventions specific to assigned unit.
