Job Summary:

The Case Management Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Case Management with daily management of CM staff and their roles. The Manager is also responsible for day-to-day activities of department in the Case Management Director’s absence. To identify trends or issues in the department that requires further evaluation for their quality or utilization implications and bring those to the attention of the director.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required:

Education: 

Graduate of accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure.

 

Experience:

 Three years clinical experience preferred. Comparable combination of education and experience will be considered. Previous utilization management, discharge planning or hospital based social service experience is very beneficial. Effective communication skills, verbal and written, as well as excellent organization skills are required.
