We are looking for a Logistics Distribution Center Manager (H/F) - for an 18-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Operation EMEA Department, you will be responsible for the operation of the distribution center based in Dagneux (01) and for shipments from the production site in L'Arbresle (69).

You have 2 main responsibilities:

Management of the Dagneux distribution center
-    Organizing, coordination and supervising all inbound, storage, handling, and transport operations for finished products
-    Managing relations with external service providers to guarantee the quality of the service provided
-    Monitoring Kpi's (budgets, invoicing, stocks, etc.), analyzing logistics performance and taking corrective action
-    Drawing up transport schedules in coordination with production and external service providers
-    Taking charge of cross-functional projects, in collaboration with other support departments
-    Deployment of standard operation procedures
-    Monitoring group issues with other distribution centers (Germany, Belgium)

Shipping management at the L'Arbresle production site
-    Supervision of 2 people in charge of shipping activities
-    Supervision of shipping activities (consistency of planning, team meetings, Kpi's, management of disputes)
-    Creating and monitoring the budget
-    Tendering of transport services together with the Purchasing department
-    Optimizing logistics flows and processes

Your profile :
With at least 5 years' experience as a logistics manager, you have already managed logistics projects. You have excellent communication skills, enabling you to work closely with all the company's departments (production, purchasing, quality, logistics, etc.), both in France and internationally. You are used to work with SAP, Excel, and GDP standards. Your English is fluent. You are team player and can convince others.  Your way of working is structured, methodical, and organized.
