Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care at the site level through operational oversight, and the management, implementation and evaluation of Best Practices and key clinical processes.  Provide direction and supervision for health care employees such as the clinical nurse supervisor, professional nursing and allied health care staff, as well as hold accountability for unit regulatory compliance, unit budget and financial health, clinical quality and technical issues. Promotes interdisciplinary and cross-divisional teamwork directed toward customer satisfaction and improved patient outcomes, emphasizing appropriate nursing services in support of organizational/national strategic interventions throughout the continuum of the recovery process.

Manage and direct key health care operational processes at the site level in order to ensure successDirect the management and coaching of health care staff work outcomes in order to result in the implementation and achievement of goals and action plans identified by site leadership and other teams within established budgets and predefined time framesProvide leadership for the site nursing department initiatives and staff to result in a well-qualified, empowered, informed and productive workforceProvide supervision for nursing unit staff in order to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, compliance with external/internal regulations and ensure efficient operations and maximum utilization of existing resourcesParticipate in multidisciplinary and/or national teams as requested Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s degreeMinimum 7 yrs experience in the following areas (can be obtained in conjunction with each other):  medical/surgical nursing experience; nursing leadership; addiction related nursing practiceTwo years freedom from chemical abuseCurrent unencumbered RN licenseCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degreeCertified Addictions Registered Nurse (CARN)Public Health Nurse
