In the Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) department of Therapeutics Development & Supply (TDS) we combine clinical expertise, planning excellence and digital technology to deliver ‘Hope In A Box’ to our patients. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated colleague who shares our ambition to become a data-led organization developing break-through therapeutics to join us as Manager Clinical Supply Chain Planning Systems, located in Beerse, Belgium, Titusville, NJ, Horsham, PA, or Malvern, PA.
Our Digital Solutions team has responsibility for the digital transformation of Clinical Supply Chain, in support of planning, manufacturing, purchasing and delivering clinical supplies to thousands of clinics worldwide, as well system lifecycle management in close collaboration with clinical supply functions, our commercial supply chain and IT partners.
As a key member of Digital Solutions, the candidate will drive the strategy and implementation of advanced planning systems and capabilities in the Clinical Supply Chain. Advanced planning for the CSC portfolio plays a pivotal role in bringing new medicines to our patients across the globe.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and effective problem solver who is intellectually curious and has a proven track record of governance and/or implementation of advanced planning systems in life sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Together with functional business leaders and IT, define future state process, capability and technology landscape for advanced planning (OMP, Mendix) platforms in CSC, ensure systems support and governance.
+ Define multi-year capability, technology and investment roadmaps and influence roadmaps of supply chain systems owned by partner organizations to ensure CSC requirements are covered.
+ Lead or participate in multi-functional implementation teams to implement new systems in the clinical supply chain. Partner effectively with TDS business partners, IT, commercial supply chain functions, Quality and relevant systems vendors.
+ Drive adoption and business value realization of systems and data.
+ Act as business owner of systems in scope, ensure robust governance processes (support/incident, change request and training management) for relevant systems are in place.
+ Actively network within the industry and enterprise supply chain to proactively benchmark, exchange knowledge and bring in best practices. Create a culture of collaboration, flexibility, and competitiveness by increasing business insight, industry knowledge and skills.
**Qualifications**
Education:
+ Bachelor or master’s degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain, Engineering, Bio-Engineering, Chemistry or Information Technology, or comparable by experience.
+ APICS CPIM certification is preferred.
+ APICS CSCP certification is an asset.
+ PMI or equivalent certification is an asset.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
+ Minimum of 7Y experience in implementation or advanced use planning systems (OMP) and workflow management technology (Mendix) in life sciences (R&D or commercial).
+ Organizational and project management skills, capable of balancing multiple sophisticated projects with effective stakeholder management.
+ Ability to work in a creative and innovative development organization, that requires short timelines and high flexibility in combination with high accuracy.
+ Experience in GxP, data integrity and system/tools validation approach (SDLC).
Preferred:
+ End-to-end supply chain competence.
+ Experience in clinical or cell therapies environment.
+ Experience in SAP (PLAN, MAKE, DELIVER) is an asset.
+ Experience in data management is an asset.
+ Strong interest in digitization, Industry 4.0, data science.
