Our Pursuit team is looking to add a Manager. This position will be located in Chicago, IL, and is a hybrid opportunity. You will have the flexibility to work in the office and at home.

What the day will look like
Serve as a manager on the commercial risk solutions pursuit team. This position will report directly to the Director of Risk Solutions and require strong proposal management skills. You must have the ability to drive change, manage the team's day-to-day workflow, and serve as an escalation point and relationship bridge between the sales leaders, account teams, and proposal managers.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams on multiple projects
+ Demonstrate ability to prioritize projects, keep commitments, and consistently deliver highly effective bids
+ Self-initiative and desire for continuing professional growth along with the acquisition of new skills and expertise to meet the challenges of a competitive marketplace
+ Ability to articulate and follow Aon policies, procedures, and best practices
+ Demonstrate success in aligning strategies with client needs, budgets, and goals
+ Positive and inclusive attitude, execution of change management objectives
+ Ability to partner with designers to ensure proposals and presentations are visually impactful; assist teams with custom graphic creation and drafting initial presentations
Requirements
+ Minimum 8-10 years professional work experience in bid management required, commercial risk solutions industry experience required
+ Prior management experience strongly preferred
+ Significant background in the development of proposal responses; strong editing skills required
+ Ability to manage multiple complex bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting all deadlines
+ Experience providing strategic direction to account teams
+ Ability to learn quickly and show flexibility to adapt in a growing group, working both independently and with a team mentality
+ Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
+ Advanced knowledge of proposal management software (SharePoint, Loopio, Monday.com etc.) strongly preferred
+ Advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel knowledge required
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or related fields in communication required

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $105,000 to $115,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
