The Manager, Communication Operations & Analytics is responsible for supporting institutional communication and education initiatives with a strong focus on leveraging technology, data, and systems to enhance project execution. This position will manage an integrated, cross-functional team that supports practical, operational, and technical needs for the Strategic Communication, Education and Outreach departmental offerings. The team delivers oversight, structure, and analytics for creative projects that span multiple departments and functions. The role will also focus on process optimization, project management, technology integration, and data-driven decision-making. This is a full-time onsite opportunity. We're always looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our mission Job Responsibilities: Oversee assigned project/team activities and ensure communication products are aligned to the overall goals on productivity, quality, and client service objectives. Ensures team adheres to creative processes while designing communication media, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, and uses latest tools and technology. Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders towards assignment project/ team objectives. Actively participate in department meetings and other educational activities. Ensure all projects and tasks are executed within predefined timelines and budgets in compliance with all applicable standards & regulations. Identify opportunities for improvement in workflows, using data and technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with internal content teams (Medical, Research, Internal Comms) and institutional stakeholders (IS, departmental partners). Manage the development and execution of analytics frameworks to measure the effectiveness of communication and educational initiatives. Use data analytics to inform strategic decision-making and provide actionable insights for process improvements. Identify, implement, and manage digital asset management systems, productivity management systems, marketing automation platforms, and project management tools. Manage the integration of project management tools (Monday.com) and systems, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional goals. Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, digital asset specialists and operations specialists; and guide team members and ensure they have all the resources required, to complete their assigned tasks. Engage in hiring, performance management, and other people processes. Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Minimum Education and/or Training: Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, mass media, or other communication-intensive fields required. Master's degree or PhD preferred. Minimum Experience: Minimum Requirement: 5+ years of experience in marketing, public relations, mass media, or related experience. Some experience leading projects/processes end-to-end including resource and vendor management, and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external partners preferred. Prior Monday.com experience preferred. Databricks experience preferred. Proven performance in earlier role/comparable role. Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
