Summary
Position Highlights
The Manager, Compensation is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of Moffitt’s compensation plans for all non-provider/faculty programs. The position analyzes market data and industry trends to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices. The Manager collaborates with key stakeholders, including HR and senior leadership, to develop and administer salary structures, incentive plans, and other compensation programs. The Manager, Compensation also ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and works to enhance team member satisfaction and retention through effective compensation strategies. This position leads a team of compensation professionals and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of those team members.
Responsibilities:
Manage pay programs that apply to Management and Staff to ensure the compensation plans are internally equitable as well as externally competitive and consistent with Moffitt’s compensation philosophy.
Train, consult with, and advise management and team members of compensation plans, policies, market strategies, and compensation structure.
Manage the market, merit and incentive compensation budgets and payout estimates for staff and management.
Select, orient/train the Compensation team members.
Credentials and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field required.Certification in HR or Compensation: PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SPC or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in compensation administration or in combination with a related field, including a minimum of three (3) years as a supervisor, manager or above.
Demonstrated understanding of government regulations as they apply to compensation programs, policies and operations.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in excel, including the use of basic formulas.

Workday experience.
Healthcare compensation experience.
