Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager of Enterprise-Wide Applications who possesses a background in data analytics, financial planning, and forecasting to work in the Northrop Grumman Products Portfolio Office.   This will be a remote/telecommuter position.

The ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate technical principles, theories, and concepts as well as develop innovative solutions to address technical issues; demonstrate exceptional customer support skills; work well in a team environment; able to complete assignments with minimal management supervision; effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment; and be able to quickly adapt to changes in the digital landscape.

The product portfolio organization collaborates with sector leadership, business process owners, Digital Transformation leaders, and other key stakeholders to build, deploy, and maintain the Financial Planning portfolio based on ongoing and emerging customer needs. The role is responsible for shaping the future direction of the portfolio and corresponding technology roadmaps to support the portfolio's capabilities as well as application rationalization of the existing technical footprint. The candidate will have a strong technical background in software development including SDLC and Quality Assurance to lead the team to research, design, develop, maintain, or modify enterprise-wide applications. The candidate must maintain knowledge of the current business and technology trends and possesses leadership characteristics, effective interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thought leadership. 

Primary Responsibilities:

Meet business needs by managing the team of data analytics professionals to consistently deliver quality solutions on time and within budget and scope.Plan and deploy business applications meeting software compliance standards.Drive the development life cycle from requirements analysis, feasibility estimates, design, code, documentation, testing, implementation, and support.Manage multi-disciplined software teams and oversee the development processes using industry best practices and company required processes.Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in high-pressure environments, excelling at pinpointing and resolving problems in early project stages to avoid cost and schedule expenses.Develop a vision and roadmap for IBM Planning and Cognos Analytics products and lead team through changesServe as application owner of applications within the portfolio including maintaining accurate data in APM and continuous rationalization.Direct supervision of the staff, assignment of work, schedules, and operation costs.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience in Business Systems or IT field; or Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experienceExperienced in value stream mapping, data integration, requirements gathering, system definition and project managementWorking knowledge of Northrop Grumman’s SAP and Costpoint architecturesDeep business acumen and specific experience with key business deliverables, such as AOP, FPRP, and rate developmentMust be willing and able to travelMust be willing and able to work outside of normal business hours (including weekends) if necessary

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), IBM Cognos Analytics (BI), SAP S/4 HANA, Costpoint, Oracle, SharePoint, and other financial systems experienceManagement Information Systems, Computer Science or related Technical Degree preferredPrior involvement with integrating technology and business processExperience in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryUnderstanding of hardware and software requirements, design, development and testing of system integrations

Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
