The Manager - Connected Solutions Offerings is responsible for the development of Daikin’s connected services portfolio, focusing on digital solutions in connectivity, remote management, and data analytics. This impactful role will collaborate with commercial sales and service leaders, channel partners and customers, to define solutions offerings that deliver maximum value to customers while enhancing Daikin’s productivity, system performance, and efficiency. He/She will also focus on developing monetization services that contribute to recurring revenue and capitalize on data-driven insights. What you will do: 

Strategy and Vision:
Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for HVAC IoT cloud-connected solutions, with a focus on enhancing customer value through analytics and connectivity Monitor HVAC and IoT industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation Develop and communicate a clear product positioning strategy that aligns with the company’s vision of transitioning to a solutions provider with advanced IoT capabilities Development and Lifecycle Management:
Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI, and data analytics teams to define requirements for IoT connectivity, cloud integrations, and analytics Oversee the product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to development, launch, and post-launch improvements Prioritize and manage the product backlog, focusing on features that deliver maximum value to customers, particularly in areas of predictive maintenance, remote monitoring, and energy efficiency analytics Customer and Market Insights:
Engage with customers and partners to gather insights into their needs and challenges with HVAC connected solutions, including IoT and data analytics applications. Conduct regular market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends in cloud-connected services, AI, machine learning, and IoT Drive voice-of-customer (VoC) initiatives to validate product assumptions and inform feature prioritization Work with sales, customer success, and marketing teams to define and communicate product value propositions and sales enablement materials

Minimum Qualifications: 

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer SCience, or related field 7+ Years years of product management experience, with a focus on IoT, connected solutions, or cloudbased services, ideally within HVAC, building management, or related industries Strong understanding of IoT, cloud technology, data analytics, and machine learning applications in an industrial setting Proven track record of managing full product lifecycles, from ideation to launch, within a crossfunctional environment Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience in HVAC, building management systems (BMS), or related fields Knowledge of agile development processes, project management, and user-centered design principles Familiarity with analytics platforms, data visualization tools, and machine learning frameworks

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 - $158,800 (+ bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
