**Your Impact**
The primary purpose of this role is to implement external communications plans to support Lowe's brand marketing programs. This includes responsibility for the delivery of comprehensive brand-related external communications that are tied to enterprise-wide strategic goals. Working within the Brand PR team, the Manager of Brand Communications will serve as a trusted strategic partner to brand marketing partners, identifying external communications and public relations needs and opportunities and delivering innovative external communications strategies that promote Lowe's brand.
**What you will do**
+ Conducts brand-related external communications and public relations strategy development and implementation, supporting brand marketing annual programming
+ Creates brand public relations plans aligned with enterprise strategy and ensures communications are developed, approved, and delivered on time and on budget
+ Provides thought leadership in brand public relations strategy and develops comprehensive plans, with a focus on external elements and execution
+ Recommends related external communication strategies and ensures messaging is delivered to all appropriate stakeholders
+ Develops and deepens cross-functional relationships across the business to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration
+ Executes the project management of special communication projects and initiatives
+ Maintains cross-functional relationships with business partners and provides brand communications-related strategic counsel to key stakeholders across the organizations
+ Responsible for measuring success in conjunction with marketing measurement approaches that drive the business and demonstrate value creation
+ Identify and manage issues in a fast-paced environment while cultivating relationships with journalists, media partners, and other external relationships
+ Work with external public relations agencies, and have insight/oversight into areas such as tracking budgets, reporting, and delivery of support to meet business goals
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
+ 3-5 years of Corporate Communications and/or Public Relations experience (agency or in-house)
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
+ 5-7 years of Corporate Communications and/or Public Relations experience
+ Agency AND in-house corporate experience
+ Experience in retail marketing and/or operations
