Your New Role
This position is responsible for partnering with the Director for oversight of WBD’s Legal and Business Development organizations annual budget/long-range planning and monthly forecasts ($250M+ OPEX). This position will also review headcount analysis and reporting for over 800 employees. This position serves as the business partner / financial advisor for achievement of financial goals preparing ad hoc analysis for management to make key business decisions and meeting directly with EVPs and their respective teams. This position partners with Center of Excellence (COE) support on direction for headcount and operating expenses and is responsible for metrics analysis, variance analysis, scorecards, and executive reporting.
Your Role Accountabilities
Financial Advisor / Business Partner for Corporate F&A Executive Leadership - Supporting supporting Legal and Business Development ($250M+ / 800+ FTE) supporting EVPs / SVP's and their respective management teams. Strategically partner with operations to identify savings opportunities, identify / implement process improvements, track savings in forecast / budget / IMO, drive harmonization across legacy companies, provide ad hoc analysis as needed. Forecast, Budget and Long-Range Planning – prepare budgets, forecasts and all associated financial analysis and the presentation to executive level management – partner with operations, COE, People & Culture, Accounting and other supporting functions as needed. Requires a keen understanding of multiple different financial systems across various legacy systems.Independently manage and provide guidance to COE - support for operating and headcount expense. Act in a supportive leadership role, provide guidance and review the work of the COE support staff.Process Improvement – recommend, develop and implement new techniques, policies and procedures.Network – proactively build internal network through F&A learning opportunities, Business Resource Groups, etc.Qualifications & Experience
5-7 years of experience in Finance / AccountingBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalentMaster’s degree or CPA, desiredCandidates must demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, and in-depth process improvement skillsAdvanced analytical skills supported by proficiency in MS Office applications required and ESSBASE/Hyperion an CXO / SAP applications desirableThe successful candidate will place a high emphasis on leadership and teamwork, collaboration, strategic thinking and process innovationHow We Get Things Done…
