Job Description:

The Manager Corporate Relations reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, is responsible for managing the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for a portfolio of corporate donors, major gift donors, and prospects. Consistently delivers revenue needed for organizational priorities. Protects the mission, goals, and values of the organization. Builds trusting relationships with prospects and connects benefactors with organizational need. Represents single or multiple priorities of Allina Health and directly interfaces with a system-wide team of fundraisers. Has established knowledge of gift planning concepts and methods. Maintains a network of allied professionals and agents of wealth.

Principle Responsibilities

Revenue GenerationIdentification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate donors and select major individual donors with gift capacity of $50,000+ including targeted plans for each assigned prospect;Develops and implements a plan of action with objectives, timelines, engagement standards, and evaluation plans for corporate donors;Understand the various business partnerships of Allina Health and explore opportunities to achieve mutually beneficial results and align external strategies for a cohesive external experience;Partner with Allina leadership to develop and manage an ongoing menu(s) of sponsorship opportunities that will increase engagement of corporate donors at all gift levels, providing visibility for our industry partners;Meet or exceed Allina Health Foundation’s metrics related to performance, including numbers of visits, proposals, etc.; andMeets or exceeds revenue goals.Program DevelopmentOversees corporate gift solicitations and strategies throughout Allina Health to ensure consistent alignment with the goals and objectives of Allina Health Foundation;Collaborates with Allina Health Foundation’s Prospect Development team, plans strategies to build pipeline for corporate donor prospects, working with the philanthropy team to maximize development of gifts to Allina Health;Manages the performance of staff including coaching, recognizing, and delivering annual performance reviews; andTrains Foundation staff and orients partners within Allina Health on corporate fundraising strategies, tactics, and expectations.Collaborative FunctionsCollaborates in the development of annual fundraising projections and estimation of expenses for the Allina Health Foundation budget;Assists in the preparation of solicitation materials in collaboration with other departments for individuals, corporations, and foundations for annual support; andServes as a member of the Allina Health Foundation Major & Planned Giving team.Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, fundraising or related degree5+ years In a healthcare fundraising, corporate, or private foundation setting with demonstrated ability to manage a prospect portfolio, solicit principal level ($1M+) gifts, sponsorships, and/or engagement; preferably in the nonprofit sector or5+ years Major gifts experience with a successful track record of growing related revenue, responsibility working on campaigns, and experience working with senior leadership and leadership volunteers andRepresenting an organization in one-on-one visits with benefactors and prospects. Record of professional integrity and successful problem-solving, while juggling multiple stakeholder interests


Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree Business, fundraising or related degree


Licenses/Certifications

Certified Fund Raising Executive preferred

Pay Range

Pay Range: $53.11 to $73.49 per hour

The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.
