Our Client is a company that provides home services and energy solutions including a wide range of services such as heating, cooling, water solutions, electrical services and more, and they are in search to find a Manager, Corporate Reporting to join them for a 12 Month contract. The role is hybrid with 3 days in office located in Markham.\r\n
As the Manager, Corporate Reporting, the candidate will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, annual reporting deliverables. This includes researching and monitoring changes in IFRS standards, implementing these changes within the organization, preparing quarterly and annual consolidations and related financial statements, preparing monthly management business review packages and quarterly business performance packages as well as providing support to the external auditors. \r\n

Key Responsibilities Include:\r\nLeading and preparing the supporting files related to the Monthly Business Review, including Cash Flow proof and reporting packages\r\nPreparation of memorandums with respect to ne IFRS accounting policies for certain divisions and ensure existing memorandums with respect to new IFRS accounting policies for certain divisions and ensure existing memorandums are up to date\r\nPrepare financial reporting packages to parent company and other compliance reporting Research accounting and reporting standards under IFRS\r\nWork closely with divisional Controllers and their accounting teams, operational departments and the company\u2019s auditors to obtain support for Hyperion mapping setup, consolidation, financial reporting and the cash flow forecast\r\nResponsible for the financial accuracy of quarterly and annual reporting, board presentations and reporting to parent company\r\nPerform all SOX controls for the position and ensure all SOX controls are being executed\r\nUnder the guidance from the Corporate Reporting Senior Manager and Director, assist and support on process improvement to achieve efficiencies and quality reporting\r\nAssist with external auditors\u2019 queries for all consolidation related issues and financial statement note disclosures\r\n\r\n
