Manage areas of responsibility within the rules and regulations of State and Federal agencies. Share responsibility for the
development, interpretation, application and implementation of departmental policies. Supervise and perform duties
involving a variety of technical procedures. Responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities, personnel and
equipment to assure efficient operation within CT and MRI sections. Achieve organizational and departmental objectives
by providing quality diagnostic services.
Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology, either hospital based or college degree program.
Bachelor’s degree or advanced courses in management or related field preferred.
Five (5) years’ experience in the Radiology field preferred; two years supervisory experience or equivalent preferred as
determined by the Director of Imaging Services. Working knowledge of departmental staffing and disciplinary procedures;
patient and customer service strategies; and interpreting and managing physician interaction and requests with regard to all
components of modality; radiation safety and protection. Competency in components of CT Scan/MRI practice as
appropriate; able to teach/instruct. Technical and clinical expertise, communications skills, clerical accuracy.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with advanced registry/certification in CT
and/or MRI. BLS required
