**Job Description Summary**
As a Manager - Data Governance, you will be a part of the Integrated Supply Chain & Services function that is undergoing a broader Digital Transformation. In that role, you will be responsible for leading and implementing data governance strategies and best practices across the organization. This role will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and security across all data sources.
As a Manager - Data Governance, you will lead the implementation and execution of the ISC&S Data Governance program on a tactical level, ensuring policies and processes are adhered to, data assets/products are well-managed, and data quality is optimized across the organization helping the organization to be become data-driven.
**Job Description**
**Responsibilities**
+ Developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and procedures for ISC&S Domains. This includes defining data quality rules, data classification guidelines, data security protocols, and metadata management standards (in line with the overall Data Governance Program and Enterprise Governance team),
+ Leading and participating in the Data Governance Domain Working Groups supporting the Data Owners and Data Stewards.
+ Participating in the development and maintenance of the organization's data dictionary and data lineage.
+ Overseeing data quality activities, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data validation.
+ Supporting Data Stewards in identifying and addressing data quality issues.
+ Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure data meets their requirements.
+ Educating and training stakeholders/ on data governance policies and procedures.
+ Leading or participating in Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, including data consolidation, deduplication, and enrichment within Supply Chain domains.
+ Ensuring data quality and consistency across all master data domains (e.g., customer, product, supplier).
+ Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
+ Staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in data governance.
+ Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
+ Supporting the Data Governance Director in the development and execution of the overall data governance strategy.
+ Assisting the Data Governance Director in communicating and advocating for data governance initiatives across the organization.
+ Contributing to the development and maintenance of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
+ **Strong experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.**
+ **Previous experience with Master Data Management (MDM) principles and methodologies.**
+ Strong understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.
+ Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, tools, and industry best practices.
+ **Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement.**
+ **Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra) is a plus.
+ Experience with Data Mesh federated governance model implementation is a plus.
+ Change management experience is a plus.
