Advanced AI Capabilities & Smarketing Team is part of the Analytics, Investment & Marketing Enablement Team (AIM) within GCS organization of American Express. AIM group is responsible for driving Commercial Customer acquisitions, engagement & retention globally by evolving our card & beyond-card products, targeting customers over online and offline channels through delivering world-class Analytics, Insights and Data Products.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Creating world class analytics, developing cutting edge commercial capabilities powered by Data & Dynamic Intelligence Explore the latest big data/machine learning/deep learning techniques like reinforcement learning, natural language understanding (NLP), computer vision and Bayesian methods Creating data segmentation & optimization strategies for targeting profitable prospects with the right treatments across channels Drive expertise in Audience Identification and Custom targeting leveraging Amex and Partner data assets Develop and foster cross functional relationships with partners across American Express to ensure project prioritization and implementation Evaluate new external data sources & introduce novel approaches to transform complex customer behavioral data to engineer innovative data features

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Degree in a Quantitative Field such as Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering, Economics or Physics is required. Strong programming skills in Python is required.  Experience with big data programming language like Hive or Spark is required. Strong analytical/conceptual thinking acumen to solve unstructured and complex business problems and articulate key findings to senior leaders/stakeholders to influence business decision making Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage several concurrent projects through collaboration across teams/geographies Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a matrix organization partnering with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver solutions at top speed

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. degree preferred Knowledge of B2B financial product marketing is a plus Multi-Channel marketing and performance marketing experience, including digital marketing channels preferred

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
