Manager Digital Direct Giving Direct to Constituent

Summary: The Manager of Digital Direct Giving, Direct to Constituent supports a major driver of revenue for the organization by executing the digital acquisition, engagement, and online fundraising strategy for LLS direct giving and fundraising events.  From direction of Direct to Constituent Leadership and in partnership with internal LLS stakeholders, this role helps develop strategies and then executes online campaigns for LLS to reach its overall fundraising goal. Reporting to the Director of Advertising, Direct to Constituent, this role is focused on revenue delivery, effective program management, fiscal accountability, vendor management and innovation while establishing strong and trusting relationships with key business partners.  

 

While employees may be permitted to work remotely, travel to the assigned office, HUB or Satellite Offices may be required as determined by the employee’s manager and the employee’s People Organization Generalist.

Accountabilities:   

 

Mission Integration  

Partner with Constituent Experience (CE) colleagues to communicate and incorporate the LLS overall mission into managed paid digital programs.   

Innovative Strategy and Executable Vision 

Assist in the development of the Direct to Constituent team’s annual fiscal budget, across revenue and expenses while managing actual expense reporting and coding to ensure we meet our financial obligations. Primary lead to manage all paid mission-based patient search initiatives.  Primary lead to manage all paid digital initiatives supporting our fundraising event campaigns including Social, Display/Programmatic, SEM, and retargeting automation. Manage day to day responsibilities across multiple external relationships and create new ones with Third Party platforms and partners; including LLS Digital Agency, Meta, Google, Amazon, YouTube. and other ad platforms. Assist with creating strategic briefs for new asset development and then seamlessly traffic the campaign creative for new digital programs across multiple online channels – programmatic, social and paid search. Keep abreast of digital marketing trends; apply learnings to establish baseline metrics, improve outcomes, and inform planning and budgets. Develop and deploy executable best practices, business standards and turn-key resources that drive key performance indicators through year-round multi-focal fundraising, cultivation, and stewardship plans. 

High Impact Fundraising 

Execute and manage the digital consumer acquisition strategies for fundraising events across paid digital channels. Drive digital acquisition growth by assessment of the competitive landscape, optimization of existing channel performance and identification of new placement opportunities.  Work with the product champions, content, internal and external creative teams, IT and web development teams for asset development designed for digital syndication and consumption.  Responsible for reporting, tracking, and forecasting to evaluate program performance across all paid digital channels, aiding in the development of future strategies. Manage digital campaigns across multiple online channels. Oversee execution of managed campaigns across all channels. Provide strategic recommendations and ideas to design and implement new features to optimize website conversion and performance. Assist with awareness building program development, trafficking and implementation for campaigns executed through traditional (tv / radio) and digital media channels (online video / connected tv) 

Financial Oversight and Accountability  

Ensure overall revenue and P&L goals are achieved for programs managed. Evaluate and effectively project revenue stream KPIs. Budget management. Assist in the development of revenue models that support three to five years of sustained growth.

Essential Qualifications:   

5+ years of relevant experience Proven ability to develop strategic marketing and fundraising plans that achieve objectives through paid advertising campaigns  Proven track record of creating data-driven digital marketing programs and implementing both best practices and new techniques that have resulted in sustained growth in revenue delivery, website traffic, email universe, and audience engagement.  Knowledge of current digital strategies and techniques, including but not limited to: SEM/SEO, organic and paid social media, Display/Programmatic, audience segmentation, A/B testing, website content management and / or content marketing.Demonstrated engagement in digital marketing sector, including continuous learning and ability to identify emerging trends and recommend new tools and techniques.Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills; must be entrepreneurial and resourceful.  

 

Education:  

Bachelor’s Degree Relevant Certificate(s).

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $95,000 to $137,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at LLS we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package
