**Responsibilities**
At Epsilon, we help marketers create human connections that count, everywhere. Our Creative team—made up of over 100 designers, copywriters, digital producers, and creative technologists—are all part of this digital media revolution, and we’re looking for a **Manager, Digital Production** to join our team and make a powerful impact from day one.
The Manager, Digital Production is responsible for managing a team of Senior Digital Producers, Digital Producers, and Associate Digital Producers. The Manager, Digital Production is accountable for the quality and timeliness of their team's production work, owning top-line initiatives while working to visibly elevate their team through participation in initiatives involving the Operations environment, processes and workflow. You’ll collaborate with other Team Leads and Managers to define and drive Digital Producer team goals and methods for elevating team skills connecting to the business goals. This role increases efficiency and the quality of deliverables by identifying and recommending ways to automate aspects of the work, contributing to the standardization of common tasks, and innovating new methods for executing the production and content management processes.
This role is responsible for all aspects of personnel management within their team, including working with the Associate Director and Vice President to set team and individual goals, conduct annual and mid-year reviews, hold weekly 1:1 meetings with, and facilitate the continued professional growth of, their direct reports. This role represents the Production Team in projects and discussions involving stakeholders across Creative and the broader Operations environment.
**What you’ll be doing…**
**Leadership**
+ Manage and mentor a diverse team of digital production professionals.
+ Oversee daily workflow, ensuring adherence to established processes and timelines.
+ Initiate cross-team projects aimed at enhancing automation, efficiency, and production capabilities within Creative and Operations.
+ Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet company objectives while delivering high-quality creative outputs.
+ Prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
+ Foster proactive communication among designers, engineers, account managers, and front-end developers.
**Production Efficiency**
+ Analyze existing workflows across teams to implement improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce production time.
+ Deliver exceptional production work that adheres to client brand guidelines while collaborating effectively with designers and developers.
**Elevation**
+ Drives exceptional work by improving efficiency & automation. The Manager, Digital Production analyzes work processes across teams, proposes recommendations on how to enhance operations to leadership team, owns and implements the rollouts of solutions
+ Primary areas of focus involve cutting production time, improving the quality of deliverables and automating process steps.
+ Is the Subject Matter Expert for tools, applications and special projects. Actively collaborates in team, department and company level initiatives as a subject matter expert bringing specailized industry expertise, a proactive problem-soving approach and dynamic leadership.
**Qualifications**
**Ideal background…**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Media or a related field; equivalent work experience is acceptable.
+ 8-10 years of experience in digital production roles with at least 4 years in direct team management.
+ Proven experience in personnel management and team leadership.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in digital image processing (cropping, manipulation, retouching).
+ Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office applications.
+ A robust portfolio showcasing design samples and previous work in digital media.
+ Deep understanding of asset optimization concepts such as resolution/DPI, raster vs. vector graphics, font management, and file size considerations.
+ Exceptional attention to detail along with strong organizational skills.
+ Excellent project management abilities paired with effective problem-solving skills.
+ Demonstrated capacity to collaborate within a team environment while providing clear direction.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience in video/sound editing is a plus.
+ Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript development is desirable.
+ Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) is advantageous.
