**How you’ll spend your day**
+ Review all new projects and modifications, and provide inputs to eliminate exposure and ergonomic risk.
+ Advise and collaborate with management to resolve occupational health issues.
+ Create and execute studies to monitor and assess employees' exposure to health risks, and to measure the effectiveness of occupational health programs, policies, and procedures.
+ Overseeing biological monitoring programs.
+ Assess and analyze research data, summarizing statistics, and compile reports.
+ Propose and lead the implementation of programs to protect employee health, and including ergonomics.
+ Ensure employee awareness of occupational health and safety concerns, programs, and regulations.
+ Investigate incidents, occupational health trends, prepare investigation reports, and implement corrective action to avoid the recurrence.
+ Lead audits and inspections in the area of Occupational Health Center and Industrial Hygiene. Ensuring compliance all the time.
+ Prepare the Safety / Hygiene / Occupational Health Reports as per defined formats.
+ Prepare, update and document the standard operating procedures (SOP) related to safety department.
+ Follow up with CFT department regarding implementation internal, external industrial hygiene and occupational health related recommendations.
+ Maintain the inventory of industrial hygiene and occupational health equipment.
+ Inspect installed industrial hygiene equipment across different plants.
**Your experience and qualifications**
+ B.Tech/B.E in Chemical Engineering/ M.Sc. Chemistry + Diploma/Certification in Industrial Hygiene.
+ 12-15 Years of relevant experience
+ Good understanding of API manufacturing process, Regulatory requirements and Process safety elements.
