Job Description Summary

               

The EHS Systems & Standards manager provides global oversight for Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) applications and data management. This role involves developing and promoting Lamb Weston’s strategy and direction in alignment with company initiatives. The manager will lead the development, enhancements, and ongoing support of the EHS global applications and management systems, serving as the subject matter expert and system administrator. The position will also focus on program and process alignment, communication, and standardization across all Lamb Weston sites through the development of standardized tools, processes, and coaching.

Job Description

People Development Responsibilities:

Provide professional coaching and mentoring.

Ensure alignment and standardization with global applications, management systems, and standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally to promote the adoption of EHS applications, management systems, and standards.

Program Responsibilities:

Oversee and support the development and rollout of global EHS applications and management systems.

Coordinate the oversight and development of global EHS training content in collaboration with EHS Pillar Teams and the Continuous Skills Development team.

Act as a representative of Lamb Weston, both internally and externally, as the applications and systems subject matter expert (SME).

Serve as a member of the Global EHS Pillar team.

Lead the consistent development and implementation of global Lamb Weston EHS performance metrics and standards.

Facilitate the periodic global EHS Regulatory Applicability Analysis and the Legal and Other Requirements process.

Provide Compliance management information support and on-time task completion of global policies & standards.

Oversee global EHS audit process: maintain audit protocols, align, schedule, and resource model, develop and report on KPIs.

Oversee the global EHS audit process, including maintaining audit protocols, alignment, scheduling, resourcing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Support Process Safety Management as needed.

Support sustainable development initiatives and goals.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences

Master’s Degree preferred

5+ years of progressive experience in the field of application management in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred)

Expert knowledge of applications capability and its impact on the food industry

Extensive knowledge of and experience with implementing EHS applications and management systems

Experience both at the corporate and facility levels is highly preferred

Excellent leadership skills

Excellent presentation skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Experience with acquisitions/divestitures

Experience with developing engineering scope for new equipment to fulfill compliance needs.

Innovation:

Support the development of EHS technology roadmap including Global expansion and standardization of EHS applications and management systems.

Partner with internal and external vendors to introduce innovative technology to drive EHS mission

Work with necessary teams to proactively ensure the overall health of EHS applications and management systems.

Physical Demands:

Ability to work in office environments, manufacturing operations, and environmental control systems.

Ability to represent Lamb Weston on EHS matters to outside stakeholders.

The position will require the ability to travel as needed to fulfill responsibilities. Annual travel may range up to 50%.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $110,610.00 - $165,920.00
