Job Responsibilities : 1.Software Developer: Write code in Python, Javascript and HTML/CSSWork
in collaboration with open source community to improve platforms, file
bugs
2.Fix bugs and solve problems, write documentation and automated tests
3.Advance best practices with the engineering team through participation
in architecture, technical design and code reviewsWork closely with,
brainstorm ideas and incorporate feedback from, the engineering team,
product management and QA.
4.Solid understanding of the full web technology stackProficiency in at
least one programming language: Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, Javascript
5.Proficiency in creating web applications in one server side
framework: Django,Rails, NodeJS, J2EE , etc.
6.Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQLDesired
7.Comfortable with Unix/Linux as a development environment.
8.Experience with NoSQL databases like Mongodb.Familiarity with source
code control systems like GIT, Subversion, Mercurial.Familiarity with
modern DevOps tools, like Vagrant, Puppet, Ansible, Docker etc.Github
profile or link toopen source work
9.Experience in Software Development Life Cycle and interactive
methodologies.Excellent communication skills
10.Dev Ops: Experience with automation/configuration management using
either Puppet, Chef or an equivalentComfortable with Ansible coding and
familar with AWS services and environment setups
11.Real-world experience with Python or other dynamic development
languages.
12.Comfortable with Unix/Linux as a development environment.
13.Able to code front to back, including HTML, CSS, Javascript, Django,
Python.
14.You must be committed to an agile development practices, in Scrum or
Kanban.
15.Demonstrated skills in building service based architecture driven
development.
16.Committed to documentation of best practices so your code can be
consumed in an open source environment.
17.Contributor to or consumer of Open Source
frameworksDesiredComforatble with modern DevOps tools, like Vagrant,
