Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

Position Brand Description:The Manager is responsible for setting strategies and objectives for his or her area within Indianapolis Device Assembly and Packaging support Autoinjector Assembly and Capital Project Portfolio. The Manager partners with other leaders to influence and implement the organization’s functional agenda, Business Plan priorities, and GMP Plan objectives for the Site. The Manager is responsible for developing employees as necessary to meet these business requirements.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:Develop, mentor, coach, and recognize employees within their organization
Develop and implement business plan objectives
Track team performance in executing and completing objectives
Ensure proper resources and tools are in place to execute team objectives
Staff the team with personnel capable of meeting business needs and objectives
Act as role model in demonstrating Lilly’s core values
Build and drive safety and quality culture within organization
Remove barriers that impact team performance
Provide technical input/support, as required
Develop local processes and procedures in accordance with the FUME system
Assure an adequate number of qualified resources to perform asset management processes
Meet the requirements of the FUME System through execution of local processes and procedures
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, manufacturing or related field
5+ years of Pharma Manufacturing or manufacturing
Additional Preferences:Previous supervisory/leadership experience
Recognized strong team leadership skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels (both oral and written)
Strong talent development skills, especially coaching and people development
Solid regulatory compliance knowledge (GMP, OSHA, etc.)
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.
Device Assembly manufacturing experience
