The Manager - Enterprise Network Services is a member of the Information Technology Department that has the responsibility for leading the team of engineers and administrators who design, deploy, and maintain SHI’s data networks and network management systems. They are the principal designer of LAN, WAN, and network security solutions on the network team. They assign tasks and projects to Network Engineers and Network Administrators. They monitor project and task progress to achieve the goals and meet deadlines. They assist and mentor their team members to ensure the progression of their skills. They conduct the yearly review of the Network Engineers and Administrators, maintain their attendance records, and ensure proper staffing.
The Manager - Enterprise Network Services is required to report to the SHI Somerset NJ office location as determined by SHI management.

Assess technical requirements for corporate networks in the enterpriseDesign new and upgrade existing networks and their supporting systemsDesign and maintain backup configurations, recovery plans, and version control systemsTroubleshoot network architecture and make recommendations for system enhancementsMake recommendations for system improvements and cost reductionDevelop and oversee implementation plansDirect resources for successful implementation of plans and designsConduct regular individual status meetings with subordinatesCreate plans for staff developmentReview performance of Network Administrators and Engineer Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required7+ years of experience configuring, troubleshooting, and deploying IP networks in medium to large enterprises3+ years of large corporation or enterprise IT Experience 2+ years of leadership experience managing and mentoring a team of IT networking professionals Required Skills Proficiency in evaluating technical requirements and preparing appropriate network designsProficiency in configuring EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP routing protocolsProficiency in configuring network firewalls and network access controlsExcellent teamwork and organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasksExcellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to follow a structured methodology to solve problemsExcellent oral and written communication skillsDesire and ability to research and study technology to increase knowledge and solve problemsAbility to mentor, motivate, and evaluate subordinate team membersProficiency with Microsoft Visio for documenting network designsPreferred Qualifications/Skills
Experience configuring Cisco FTD or ASA network firewallsExperience configuring Cisco wireless network controllersExperience configuring Cisco Viptela SD-WAN platformExperience configuring F5 LTM/GTMExperience configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)Experience configuring networking in AWS or Azure cloud environments Certifications Required CCNP Certification Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $85,000-150,000 The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
