This position serves as an extension of the global team.
For its Energy and Building Technology business sector, the Bosch Group plans to take over the global HVAC solutions business for residential and light commercial buildings from Johnson Controls. As part of the global Export Control Officer team you will be responsible for Johnson Control and potentially other Bosch entities in the US. You are located in the Johnson Controls headquarter in the US.
Job Responsibilities:
Implementation and supervision of the regional Export Controls Officer groupResponsible for strategic policy development with consideration of current and future export controls and sanction laws, as well as global Bosch directivesImplementation of effective risk management for the regionDefine mandatory controls and checksSupport continuous improvement of standardization and efficiencyEnable the Business to effectively adhere to all policies and directivesQualificationsBasic Qualifications:
10+ years of Export Controls and an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience with export control in North America (EAR and OFAC)1+ years of experience in leading othersIn-depth knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in North AmericaExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with all levels of the organizationExperience in creating and delivering effective trainingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong internal audit skillsContinuous learner; willing to stay abreast and enjoys researchPreferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions in adherence to compliance, regulations and policiesDemonstrated ability to identify and understand issues and resolve inquiries and develop appropriate solutions quickly, effectively and independentlyKnowledge of sanctions and export control laws in the EU & UNAbility to effectively coordinate activities and collaborate with groupsStrong organizational and prioritization skillsExperience in the automotive industryTravel Requirements :
