The Manager of Facilities is responsible for:
Planning, organizes, and coordinates the overall operations of the buildings and grounds to ensure a safe environment.Being accountable for development and achieving assigned goals, managing the operating and capital budgets, vendor management, and overseeing the department's day-to-day operations ensuring equipment and buildings are properly maintained to BayCare, regulatory and industry standards.Determining priorities for repair, maintenance activities, and construction/renovation projects to maximize productivity and cost effectiveness while minimizing disruption to operations.Compliance and documentation of standards for agencies such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).Collaborating with hospital leadership, Design & Construction Management, Infection Control and Safety Officer.Promoting team member growth through mentoring of staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
Required - High school or Equivalent
Preferred - Bachelors in related field
Experience
Required - 5 years as a facilities coordinator or 5 years combination of facilities coordinator and facilities supervisor
License / Certification
Preferred CHFM (Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager)
