Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Facilities Engineering 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Facilities and Maintenance organization. This leadership role is located in Iuka, Mississippi.
As the Manager Facilities Engineering 3 for the Iuka location, you will oversee the facilities and maintenance operations. This includes planning, risk management, and project performance. Additional duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drive team performance based on data analytics including Uptime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure, and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)Lean principles, 5S, and visual factory ideology are key to a successful candidateUniformity and standard practices across all sites to create group continuityProvide guidance to subordinates based on organizational goals and company policyWork is reviewed in terms of meeting the organizations objectives and schedulesAdvanced level of understanding in a specialized field or general understanding of several diverse disciplinesInvolves a broad grasp of involved practices and procedures Decision Making Regularly requires analysis of alternative courses of actionDecisions have risk/reward implications for program or area of influenceResponsible for all projects assigned to the organizational groupAdvisor to lower-level managers and exempt employeesHelp meet established schedules or resolve technical or operational problemsInterprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policiesEstablishes operating policies and procedures that affect subordinate organizational unitsDevelop and administer budgets and standards of performanceSubject to approval, modifies the organizational structure of centralized functions and unitsActs as an advisor to subordinate supervisors or staff members to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problemsDirectly participates in establishing and administering many centralized functional projectsLiaison Frequent contact with equivalent level managers and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, or contractual clarifications.Conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representativesOur Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of related experience; OR a Master's degree and 5 years of related experience; OR 11 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degreePrevious experience managing maintenance trades and/or vendor contractsLeadership experience working in collaboration across multiple organizations, contracts, and/or customer relationshipsAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance last investigated within 6 yearsExperience in all areas of Facilities Maintenance operationsAbility to communicate effectively with senior leadershipAbility to develop and present material outside the immediate work functionProven positive impact on employee engagement activities across program and functional organizationsProven financial, schedule, subcontract management, technical performance, and execution experienceExperience supporting multiple different review teamsFamiliar with a variety of aerospace and/or similar industry production equipment and manufacturing facilities infrastructureExperience with CAD/3D design and/or ability to read and interpret blueprintsWhat We Offer:

Salary Range: $134,400.00 - $201,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
