Your role at Baxter

The incumbent is accountable for Guayama's Fill & Pack operations overall results delivery.Key deliverables include employee safety and morale, product quality, compliance with regulations and completing the production plan in full and on time to achieve customer service and the committed financial results. Collaborate with other functions (Plants, Opex, GPF, QA, Eng, IT, HR, R&D, Fin) as necessary to continually improve overall department performance.

What you'll be doing

- Plan and supervise the production on the fill and pack department in order to ensure that the products are filled accurately, efficiently and in accordance with company policies, procedures and regulatory mandates.- Provide the required finished goods units and presentations in a cost-efficient manner to fulfill customers' orders on time.- Define adequate staffing and equipment requirements to ensure an efficient production flow and accommodate changes in production volumes, new productions, and projects. Work closely with packaging and maintenance engineering in planning and implementation activities.- Provide strategies and direction to drive cost reduction projects while improving product quality and supply chain responsiveness.- Maintain safe conditions in packaging area by providing a safe work environment and by training employees in safe techniques and in the importance of safety. Ensures the area is maintained in adequate state of repair.- Develop department goals and objectives aligned with site strategic plans targets and works actively in department budget design and ensure budget targets are met.- Provide direction and coaching on team members in collection, analysis and visual controls design of relevant data to run the business and improve the business. Prepare area performance reports and presentations, deviations to targets and action plans.- Assure that personnel are fully trained on time according to the position's curriculum, procedures revisions timeframe and regulatory requirements. Provide developmental opportunities for the personnel.- Create a robust succession plan and knowledge transfer process to assure business continuity under any circumstances.

What you'll bring

- Bachelor's degree in science or Related Field- Eight (8) to ten (10) years' experience- Fully Bilingual - written and spoken English & Spanish
