Credit & Fraud Risk Finance team delivers fact-based, decision-driven and high-impact Net Loss Provision forecasts and credit-risk related insights and deep analytics. The key objective is to drive prudent financial decisions and support credit-risk strategies while ensuring adherence to governance and controls.

This position will be part of a highly talented team with strong intellectual curiosity.

How will you make an impact in this role?

The manager for US Card Net Loss Provision will play key role in the Credit Risk and Fraud Finance team by delivering Reserves and provision forecasts in addition to deep insights for overall US Consumer and Small Business portfolios. The manager will work across finance and risk, liaising with key stakeholders to deliver on our key business objectives, build upon our strategic vision and strengthen our team culture. They will drive accurate, comprehensive, and reliable estimates for the Net Loss Provisions for the US Card portfolio. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to learn and use the latest data tools and technologies and explore a range of roles to grow your career.

 Leverage quantitative skills to support forecasting, results and analysis for US Reserves and Loss Provision Use statistical and quantitative techniques to develop and enhance forecasting models, including data selection, validation, ongoing monitoring and governance, utilizing cutting edge techniques and platforms. Perform corporate planning and financial planning and analysis to serve as the basis for key internal and external communications and decisions. Update model documentation submitted to internal validation teams and external regulators Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to access potential outcomes and risks across International markets Partner with various cross-functional teams, including Controllership, Corporate Planning, and Risk   Conduct deep dives on credit metrics and emerging trends to identify risks and opportunities, inflection points, and key drivers of portfolio performance. Communicate results and insights with peers and senior leadership across Finance and Risk.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, data science, or engineering  Strong understanding of statistical/predictive models, data extraction and analytical techniques using complex financial database Hands-on experience in developing scalable models using statistical software such as Python, R, Excel, with visualization in Power BI or Tableau

Preferred Qualifications

Coding skills in Python, R, VBA preferred Advanced skills in SQL including Postgres, Hive, and BigQuery. Ability to break down complex ideas into understandable and actionable messages  Ability to provide thought leadership and creativity in solving challenging business problems

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
