Responsibilities Manages all financial functions in an organization. Establishes internal controls for monitoring assets, capital investments, controlling costs, and measuring liquidity. Oversees development of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements. Monitors the financial status of the organization; interprets asset ratios, break-even analysis reports, profit margins, operating costs, stock value (if applicable), and other metrics used in measuring fiscal stability.Communicates with operations, marketing, HR, IT, and other departments on matters of budget approval and ROI for specific projects. Prepares for audits and makes certain that financial reporting is completed properly, and that all documentation follows applicable regulations (including GAAP, FASB, or SEC mandates). In-depth understanding of the field's concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks and has some latitude for determining appropriate processes to follow. Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. Supervision may be provided through a team of subordinate supervisors and/or managers. Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies. Qualifications BA and 5-7 years.Background in state and local program finance.Track record of program finance leadership.Understanding of manufacturing and technincal delivery program finance. Experience partnering with program management to lead program reviews and forecast updates.Experience with multiple contract types and various performance periods simultaneously FP, POC, T&M, CP and All elements of cost buildups.Will require the ability to read and interpret contractual documentation in order to ensure compliance with customer obligations.Will be required to support internal and external audit support requests.
