Brief description of the role below: 

ProAmpac is seeking a Finance/Accounting Manager who will manage an accounting staff, manage month-end close activities, prepare analysis to support and prepare journal entries, review financial statements for accuracy, develop and maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations of accounts, review and explain variances to budge and forecast, design and monitor effective internal controls while partnering with internal and external customers for alignment, collaborate with and coordinate accounting matters with other departments and team members and manage performance reviews and goal setting with a team of accounting staff.

Qualifications, Education and Experience: 

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, CPA a plus. 6+ years of experience in field Strong analytical ability to help identify, define and facilitate the implementation of new processes, standardize processes, and new reporting requirements. Problem Solving abilities - attention to detail, eager to learn and develop new solutions, willingness to embrace change, persistence in driving improvement, and process driven. Customer service oriented with demonstrated ability to collaborate with others. Consistently meets and anticipates the needs of internal customers, respects differing opinions, and fosters positive working relationships. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. PeopleSoft financial management a plus. Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients. Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
