The Opportunity

Our location in Columbus, OH, currently has an opportunity for a Finance Manager, North America Manufacturing Costing & Inventory.

The Finance Manager is responsible for leading costing decisions and initiatives for Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain in North America and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AMAPS

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

Review and document AMAPS process as it relates to SME.  Participate on any future system upgrades/integrations for North America manufacturing costing (AMAPS/Symphony)  Set/Maintain North America Manufacturing Standard Costs in AN's Cost SystemProvide Cost estimates for new innovations / reformulations for all US Plant manufactured itemsCoordinate Annual Standard Setting Process with the plantsComplete Standard analysis/review of Standard prior to finalizing annual standards.Provide consolidated Cost Change impacts for submission and lead the Cost Change reconciliation with ANPD annually.Complete/coordinate Cost System updates for annual Cost Rollover at year-endResponsible for Plans/LBEs/Actuals US NA Manufacturing HQ Budget/ P&L and B/SSupport analysis for US Inventory for Raw Materials, WIP, and Finished GoodsResponsible for analysis of Methods - monthly BOM changes/LBEs/PlanInventory:  coordinate Inventory/DOH forecasts for US Manufacturing with Production Planning for Plans/LBEs/ActualsMember of PPMO/NPI new product launch teamsSupport Consolidation Efforts for Total US Manufacturing during LBE CyclesAbility to manage projects to completion with limited oversight.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING  

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.  MBA, CPA, or CMA certification desirable. 3-5 years + experience in Operations Accounting and working with/in a standard cost system either in a plant or staff environment. Must have the ability/experience to implement new cost system.

Preferred:

Must have a working knowledge of Operations Accounting Theory and Practice for making decisions for Inventory and US Manufacturing CostingProficient in Microsoft Office; Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI or other similar.Preferred Experience with SAP, AMAPS, Alteryx, and HOST/Planful.

BACKGROUND

The incumbent must be able to evaluate current reporting and analytical techniques, recommend and implement changes that will enhance the efficiency or quality of the information.  The incumbent must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively lead in a team environment, be adaptable to change, able to manage multiple priorities, have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 – $190,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
