C.H. Robinson is hiring a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to provide strategic and financial leadership, supporting senior management in investment decisions, long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic business initiatives. In this role, you will lead and execute the company’s strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes, while also evaluating investment opportunities to maximize shareholder value, mitigate risk, and enhance prioritization and accountability. Additionally, you will play a key role in hiring and developing analysts on the Corporate FP&A team.
At C.H. Robinson, we believe in the power of in-person collaboration to drive innovation and success. This role follows a hybrid model, requiring on-site engagement three days a week to foster creativity and collaboration, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Lead global strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting processes in collaboration with business and functional leaders, ensuring aggressive yet realistic financial targets
Identify and measure key performance indicators to drive business performance improvements
Align financial analytics with enterprise goals and provide tools for informed decision-making
Analyze key performance trends and variances, delivering clear, actionable financial insights
Oversee the development and implementation of new reporting and analytical tools for enhanced decision-making
Manage the evaluation of investment opportunities, balancing shareholder value creation and risk mitigation
Partner with business and functional teams to ensure financial assumptions align with investment strategies
Establish a post-project review process to assess actual return on investment against initial expectations
Collaborate with IT to implement and support financial reporting and analytical tools
Drive continuous improvement across the FP&A function
Set goals, provide role clarity, and lead the Investment Spending FP&A team
Manage and execute FP&A projects and initiatives
Select, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure effectiveness and alignment with business goals
Foster a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing development
Other duties as assigned based on team or country-specific requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Finance-related roles
At least 3 years of experience mentoring and coaching others
Ability to travel up to 15% (domestically and internationally)
Preferred:
Strong data analytics, financial analysis, and accounting skills
Experience with Continuous Improvement / Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Experience analyzing capital investments
Proficiency in finance technologies (e.g., Oracle, Essbase)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of building consultative and influential relationships
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and navigate complex, competing interests
Strong leadership capabilities, with a focus on developing and coaching team members
Strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage complex projects

Compensation Range
$107,300.00 - $178,400.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
