Skills and Competencies

Minimum of 5 years in FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis, focusing on shared services or corporate finance. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close processes, with advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP and FP&A systems. Proven ability to prepare and present financial data to senior executives. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities accurately. Problem-solving, decision-making capabilities, strong business acumen, and understanding of financial drivers within Shared Services. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with high integrity and capability to manage confidential information.

Education


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Shared Services is responsible for supporting the AVP FP&A in all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for the Shared Services division. This role will provide financial oversight for the Shared Services costs and investments, manage month-end close processes in collaboration with accounting, track Shared Services ROI, and prepare key executive-level reports. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial processes, and the ability to communicate complex financial data to senior leadership.

Month-End Close Reporting & Accounting Engagement: Oversee Shared Services expense consolidation, collaborate with Accounting to resolve discrepancies, and provide insights on variances between actuals and forecasts/budgets. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial reports highlighting KPIs and trends, conduct variance analysis, and support the AVP FP&A in reporting for senior management. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting for Shared Services, work with business leaders to collect inputs, and ensure expenses are accurately reflected in financial plans. Shared Services ROI & Investments Tracking: Track and analyze ROI for initiatives and capital expenditures, develop tracking mechanisms for financial performance, and provide recommendations to improve ROI. Executive Leadership Team (ELT) Deck Preparation: Prepare and present financial decks for ELT meetings, ensuring accurate and clear communication of financial data and performance indicators. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various business units and FP&A team members to align on financial goals and reporting processes and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

About the team

Our Shared Services FP&A team is responsible for business partnering and financial planning for each of our Shared Services teams spanning across IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Development, and Internal Audit.
