Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Manager Financial Reporting in New Brighton, Minnesota. This role will be instrumental in a growing internationally recognized organization within the service industry. The position will focus on technical accounting, without direct reports, and will involve policy writing. It is important to note that this role will be based fully in the office.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and other financial reporting standards
• Drive the implementation of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance within the organization
• Utilize OneStream for efficient financial management and reporting
• Conduct auditing activities to ensure financial accuracy and transparency
• Engage in annual financial reporting and external reporting to provide an accurate financial status of the organization
• Foster technical accounting skills to enhance financial operations and reporting
• Write and review policies to ensure they align with financial objectives and regulations
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of customer credit applications and records
• Monitor customer accounts and respond appropriately to any inquiries or issues Requirements • Proven experience in Auditing, with a strong understanding of audit procedures and standards.
• Proficiency in Technical Accounting, with the ability to apply accounting theories and concepts.
• Familiarity with OneStream software or similar financial reporting tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, with a focus on financial regulations.
• Demonstrated ability in GAAP Accounting, with a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficiency in US GAAP, with the ability to interpret and apply these accounting standards.
• Experience in Annual Financial Reporting, with the ability to prepare and present annual financial statements.
• Expertise in External Reporting, with the ability to prepare reports for external stakeholders.
• Proven skills in Financial Reporting, with the ability to compile and analyze financial information.
• Familiarity with Financial reporting standards, with the ability to ensure compliance with these standards.
