Consulting, Manager (Digital Operations - Financial Services)
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Consulting Manager in PwC’s Financial Services Digital Operations practice, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to tackle complex business issues from strategy to execution. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
● Collaborate and contribute as a project team leader and as a team member to deliver complex financial services engagements spanning multiple sectors, including Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, and Asset Management
● Work with leading financial services institutions to deliver significant programs in the areas of:
○ Digital transformation
○ Operational excellence
○ Customer & employee experience
○ Risk & compliance management
○ Payments transformation
○ Organizational transformation
○ Business case development
○ Execution planning & roadmap development
● Be part of a community of practitioners that are committed to building sustainable relationships with clients and continuously improving service offerings to be relevant in the market
● Engage with senior client stakeholders and be adept at leading cross-functional teams to identify issues & gaps, co-create solutions, and develop both strategic & tactical recommendations that will help clients deliver on their business objectives
● Collaborate across the PwC network to conduct research on leading & sound practices and build compelling insights
● Identify, qualify, and close opportunities to deliver services with new and existing clients
● Provide guidance and recommendations on project direction such as setting priority of work packages, resource allocation, and deliverable quality standards
● Participate in the development of practice thought leadership, and support business development efforts across the digital operations practice areas
● Actively mentor and coach team members and other junior resources within the Acceleration Center, including providing feedback and guidance on work performance
● Continue to advance skills, knowledge and network related to your area of specialization
 

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
● Relevant consulting experience with a top-tier consulting firms, or internal consulting divisions of major financial institutions
● 6-8 years of experience in the financial services sector (e.g. Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, Asset Management) with expertise in one of the following competency areas: target operating model design, process design, change management, payments, operational risk management, customer experience
● Preferred MBA from tier-1 business school
● Proven experience in analyzing and solving complex business challenges that require cross-functional expertise
● Track record of managing large programs involving multiple workstreams and stakeholders
● Exposure to multiple financial services sectors would be preferred
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including developing PowerPoint presentations with an aptitude for compelling storytelling
● Sound working knowledge of digital and analytics capabilities & trends within financial services would be an asset
● Certifications in the areas of Lean, Six-sigma, and Agile would is a plus
●A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
