Manager - Fleet Sales (Partnerships)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Commercial Fleet team at 7-Eleven manages a diverse portfolio of fleet payments and programs leveraged to drive B2B traffic to our network of over 8,000 retail fuel locations. The team also manages the 7FLEET Diesel Network, a collection of nearly 500 7-Eleven®, Speedway® and Stripes® stores meeting the needs of professional truck drivers in 26 states. The Manager, Fleet Sales role is responsible for managing a dynamic field sales team in the fleet and trucking industry. The Fleet Sales team’s primary objective is to increase the sales of profitable gallons through fleet payments by cultivating industry relationships and building loyalty. This position must be able to organize, present and execute a data supported sales plan to optimize the value add of the 7-Eleven Fleet portfolio. This is a management role and requires a keen ability to lead, influence and continuously improve a team of direct reports and peers.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Negotiate with legacy industry leaders and new to industry fleet payments to ensure that we are always remaining competitive and on the cutting edge of Fleet customer’s wants and needsDevelop and implement sales tools and solutions to empower and execute a go-to-market strategy through our internal sales team that will increase the sale of profitable fuel gallons across our fueling networkExecute sales strategies across a portfolio of business that streamlines processes and reduces friction across the businessUtilize data analytics to optimize value and execute a go-to-market sales strategy that is clear and concise to promote consensus among the teamCollaborate with cross functional teams to support the development and growth of one of the largest diesel networks in the countryStays abreast of industry competition to maintain our industry leader position on product offerings and pricing strategiesAttends various industry trade shows and conventions to promote the 7FLEET commercial fueling programsDedicated largely to the truck payments and trucker solutions business, but also focused on mixed fleet customers and payments that benefit from our diverse offering of retail fuel locationsPassion for our customers with an enthusiasm to drive sales by offering holistic business solutions that increase loyaltyCoach and mentor a team that delivers measurable results; including the establishment, tracking and execution of clear and achievable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will hold sales team members accountablePresents sales team results in a clear and concise manner that is easy to share and digest across multiple business partners and varying levels of ManagementPrimary Responsibilities: 1) Fuel sales growth; 2) Relationship management; 3) Deal auditsTop 3 Leadership Principles: 1) Be Customer Obsessed; 2) Act like an entrepreneur; 3) Be AccountablePrimary relationships are with customers, various internal teams, and payment providersMust be able to work remote with a dedicated workspaceMust be willing to travel up to 50% - must be located near a major airport

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 5+ years


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Ability and aptitude to work within a cross-functional team at all levels of the organization with the ability to lead, influence and continuously improve processes.Able to confidently provide insights for improvement and offer innovative, robust and data driven solutions.Strong project management skillset.Process driven mindset and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.Must be detail oriented with strong negotiation skills.Strong intrapersonal and relationship building skills.Experience with B2B sales, deal desk, or other sales practices/systems.Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tool.Meticulous attention to detail, including maintaining accurate records and diligently tracking key sales metrics.Enthusiasm for supporting internal projects and business priorities, bringing order and efficiency to critical internal initiatives.Confidence to present internally and externally to senior leaders across various business segments.Must be self-motivated, technologically adept, and proficient with remote work tools (Teams, on-camera, screen share, etc);Stellar communication and time management skills.Strong people management skills (including but not limited to): effective communicator, proficient listener, organized, positive, trustworthy, clear expectations

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 Annual
