Do you want to be part of our PwC Pharma & Life Sciences team & practice?

PwC is looking for a talented Manager with experience in patient engagement and patient value projects to join our PwC Management Consulting department. Research shows that when patients have a role in making decisions, they form a greater understanding and stronger commitment to healing and health maintenance processes. Higher patient engagement yields improved patient outcomes and cost savings. PwC's vision is that needs-based measures have to be “patient-centric” to produce a valid unidimensional index of outcome for future. Consequently, these measures provide a direct means of increasing “patient’s value” and provide value to users, consumers and payers. It also has a role to play in “real-world evidence studies” and “outcomes-based reimbursement”.  PwC recommends that greater attention should be given to the development of patient-reported outcome measures that provide direct assessments of patient’s value.
