Manager-General Ledger Accounting Position Summary
The General Ledger Accounting Manager’s primary responsibility is for supervision of the general ledger and financial reporting functions for the finance division. This position will monitor the daily performance of the accounting department to include managing month-end close activities regarding the general ledger, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and other regulatory audit events.
Manager-General Ledger Accounting Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in accounting required. Master's or CPA preferred.Experience
Five to seven years of accounting experience with two years in a position of supervisory or leader responsibility. Knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations. Management and analysis of large amounts of data. Demonstrated implementation and maintenance of multiple systems.
Manager-General Ledger Accounting Schedule ​​​​​
Primarily day shift but evening and weekend hours and holiday hours may be required. Expected to work sufficient time and hours to manage the workforce and complete duties including planning for future goals. Hours may exceed normal staff hours. Expected to show a presence on all shifts of supervision.
Manager-General Ledger Accounting Benefits
At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
