This is a temp position (6 months) at 20 hrs/week in the Global Distribution Excellence Team at location Herzogenaurach.
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION
As Manager Global Continuous Improvement Academy, you will be responsible for nurturing the adidas Lean/Kaizen/Continuous Improvement community. You will revive the Global CI Academy (Boot Camps, Self-learning, webinars, crash courses etc.) and create a certified training curriculum for our operations. You will ensure that adidas Performance Ecosystem (PeS) is enrooted in the Global CI Community by functional learning on Lean-Kaizen-CI tools & concepts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Certified Training Curriculums
Revive the Global CI Academy that targets Continuous Improvement experts at adidas with Boot Camps, Self-learning, webinars, crash courses etc. Deliver selected trainings (e.g. Boot Camps, Gamification & Simulation based training, PeS Fundamentals training Ensure programs are designed and targeted at knowledge, skills and mindset as defined within adidas Performance Ecosystem (PeS) framework with focus on Lean/Kaizen/CI tools Develop content for Lean Glossary, Video Library, CI Tools- Cheat sheets etc. Develop content & deliver training for CI focussed soft skills, Coaching & Change mgmt., Case study based training, Lean Leadership training Develop an adidas certified training programme that will be localized and used in all adidas owned Distribution Centres (DCs) – including framework and training materials Champion the development of standards and guidelines to ensure consistent delivery of programs to the desired result and impact incl. train-the-trainer concept Conduct a training and development assessment to identify gaps and amend the programme accordingly Work with SCM Academy/global/ local HR and operations team to help with planning of the program pipeline – ensuring timely and balanced implementation of learning programs Track progress on training deployment; create a transparent system that can be by used by Operational leadership teams during annual performance and feedback evaluations with the employees Coordinate with local training teams training, coaching, and mentoring in continuous improvement concepts and techniques with focus on Lean/Kaizen Define and apply success criteria and learning measurement KPIs for CI Community and operations certification programs Conduct follow-up studies to analyse the benefit behind each training programme and continuously improve itChange management & global ci community building
Develop a holistic change management approach for the deployment of the adidas Performance Ecosystem (PeS) incl. communications plan and Lean/Kaizen/CI tools Drive the engagement of the adidas CI community across the globePeople management
Collaborate with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external agencies for program design, delivery and content development Support markets and operations in both program and platform implementation to ensure success criteria are met and best practices are sharedKEY RELATIONSHIPS

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering/Production Engineering with focus on Lean management Education as a certified Lean Leader or Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt/Green Belt or above would be preferred Industry recognized certification in Project management like PMI-CAPM, IPMA or PRINCE2 would be preferred Minimum 3+ year experience in managing projects Minimum 2+ year experience in training and development Experience working in logistics or in manufacturing operations with focus on Kaizen/Lean/CI activities Experience working in international setup with cross-functional teams including collaboration with senior leadership Professional experience working in foreign countries would be an added advantage
