Overview We are seeking a full-time Manager Global Sales & Operations Planning in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for the Global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process which includes all supply and demand activities throughout the product lifecycle for Automotive OEM products and lead a team for one business segment across functional areas or one functional area across business segments. Essential Functions Drive strategic alignment with all business areas including Engineering, Sales, Finance, Product Support, Quality, and others as required Manage a team responsible for the Global Supply Chain functions throughout the entire product lifecycle and manage Supply/Demand Allocations Develop/monitor metrics associated with Forecast Accuracy, New Product Launch performance, Supply Availability, Inventory performance and other areas as required Report Operations Performance monthly or as required in the Executive Forecast Review Meeting and Auotomotive OEM Segment Board Meetings Establish Department Goals/Metrics and participate in internal/external audits as required Establish Best Practices and lead process improvement initiatives for assigned area Create, document and oversee any changes to business process for assigned area Directly supervise various levels of team members by setting the tone for the team environment and providing individualized coaching, training and mentoring along with daily observation, assuring appropriate attendance, and providing assistance to team Participate in recruiting activities, interview, hire, train, and evaluate performance for the team including writing/conducting performance evaluations and overseeing mentoring/training of new associates Be a positive support member of the Sales and Operations Planning team Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Engineering or Supply Chain Management or a substantially similar supply chain or operations related field Must possess a minimum of five years in supply chain management, forecasting, demand planning, or inventory management experience Must possess a minimum of five years demonstrated leadership experience Must demonstrate proficient project management experience including large scale change management with ability to handle large scale change initiatives Demonstrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) knowledge Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel Demonstrated project management experience Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work across functional and organizational lines Effectively meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision Must be positive, highly motivated, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and a driven problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and work proactively in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment Desired Qualifications 5+ years in supply chain, inventory management, new product introduction, forecasting, demand planning, or similar cross-functional role 5+ years working in a global sales and distribution environment 5+ years in Consumer Electronics APICS or IBF Certification Oracle, Demantra or OBIEE experience Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
