**Job Description:**
The Manager- Grant and State Funded Youth Initiatives will oversee the adequacy, appropriateness, fiscal viability, and quality of clinical and operational programming as well as implement orientation, supervision, and staff performance activities to ensure high standards of client and organization results. He/she will also monitor workers’ work flow, implement multidisciplinary team meetings, high risk case reviews, supervision and staff evaluations. Develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for grant and state funded youth initiatives.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Develops, implements, monitors and reviews operating budget. Ensures that internal reports are produced and reviewed timely.
2. Provide supervision to direct reports and be available to staff via telephone for consultation.
3. Ensures all staff follows the Medical Necessity Criteria, Performance Specifications, and Service Definitions as set forth by the funder.
4. Supports referral process and ensure benchmarks are met with regards to engaging youth and providing community education on substance abuse/use in children.
5. Participate in the various state and grant report writing needs.
6. In charge of assignment of cases and management of waitlist.
7. Assists in hiring process of new staff; interviewing, orientation, and training.
8. Ensures staff fulfills all the requirements per funder and that documentation of such is in place.
9. Coordinates and ensures timely completion of Quality Assurance record audits and other Quality Management activities.
10. Monitors delivery of high clinical care to youth by employees.
11. Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal, external providers, as well as other regulatory bodies and funding sources.
13. Facilitate regular staff meetings for dedicated program and other BILH BS staff involved with the various state and grand funded initiatives.
14. Generates timely and accurate reports as needed.
15. Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
+ The qualified candidate is a licensed clinician (LICSW or LMHC) with specialized training and experience in child/adolescent issues, child-serving agencies (e.g. DYS, DCF, DMH, DDS, DESE), mental health, family-centered treatment, strengths-based interventions, and substance abuse/use in children and youth.
+ Supervisory experience required.
+ In addition, the qualified candidate must be organized and have a good working knowledge of computers and standard computer programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ This position will be multifaceted (including direct service with youth and families, supervision of staff, and management/administrative tasks) and as such will require an individual who enjoys utilizing different skills, is able to prioritize tasks, and switch gears easily.
