Job Profile Summary
The Grid Telecom Program Manager will be responsible for proper interface with operational organizations assuring the most efficient, secure and cost-effective operational models and processes with the necessary transition from project to operations and will communicate to leadership with respect to Grid Telecom Program strategy and work with others within the company to assure this strategy meets the needs of the company initiatives.
Job Description
Understand and maintain knowledge of industry trends for the stated use cases, future use cases and telecommunications options accordingly. Formulate conceptual needs into practical deployment options incorporating various business elements, risk awareness, costs, etc. And be able to articulate the roadmaps accordingly to all levels of the company. Maintain relationships with various leaders within the company in both engineering, operations and those programs and working groups that require related telecom technologies. Strong ability to build internal Obtain skilled staff to grow the related team and lead, direct, performance-manage and challenge team accordingly. Must work well in a challenging team environment with various elements of Strong experience of implementation for related telecom Technical acumen and experience with related known telecommunications technologies and ability to research options, review vendors, challenge vendors and develop architectures for implementation. Optimizes the use of resources across the group and liaisons with the other Managers and Supervisors to ensure operational and strategic targets can be met. Provides leadership and direction for new initiatives within the group and to senior Ensures all direct employees have career development plans, goals are being met, and that all strategic areas within the group are fully integrated. Provides visible leadership to ensure compliance with the corporate policies and best practices related to Health, Safety and Managing and maintaining relationships with Managers and Supervisors in the field and with peers within and external to the company. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science or related Minimum 8 years of experience in design and implementation of related telecom technologies, supervising and managing personnel or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working in an electric utility with responsibility for design and implementation is Proven experience applying sound judgment to make Proven ability to manage and resolve Strong oral, written and presentation Fluent in English and Spanish (being able to read, speak, and write)Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Driver's License Professional Engineer license issued by the Puerto Rico Examining Board for Engineers, Architects, Surveyors and Landscape Architects is preferred.
