Position Summary:
Responsible to oversee the daily operations, programs and services of the office. To assure quality patient services and facilitate processes in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the quality and appropriateness of services and staffing as well as their availability to meet patient care needs.
2. Keeps current in all fields of federal, state and insurance rules, regulations and reimbursement criteria and assists in keeping staff updated and in compliance with such regulations.
3. Assists in the preparation of policies and procedures upon request and oversees the implementation to all staff.
4. Works jointly with the Administrator on preparing yearly financial budgets, staffing matrix, monitoring monthly financials and making adjustments as needed.
5. Works with the Administrator in identifying deficient areas when surveyed, formulating a plan of corrective action, and follow up on these deficiencies until corrected.
6. Oversees the decision-making activities in the areas of staffing, utilization of visits, etc.
7. Works with the Administrator on Supervising and evaluations of Clinical Supervisors and coordinates with Quality/Education Department for on-the-job training in deficient areas.
8. Facilitates problem solving of service operations.
9. Facilitates preparation and presentation of staff meetings.
10. Coordinates efforts of all disciplines of the agency.

Required:
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Physical Therapy or currently pursuing a Bachelor degree with completion within three year of start of employment.
• Minimum two years management experience in a health care setting with fiscal responsibility and experience in marketing, budgeting, and strategic planning within a health care setting.
• Minimum two years home health care experience.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and proof of current automobile insurance.
