Reporting to the Director, HR Service Centre, the Manager, HR HUB will work closely with Senior HR Leaders, HR Service Centre Team and cross functional teams to plan and deliver best-in-class HR communication strategies that supports our business strategy, informs and engages audiences, drives HR business priorities and elevates the company’s brand.
Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Oversee the day-to-day operation of the HR Dayforce HUB, ensuring that service levels and performance metrics are achieved or exceeded Create and Maintain a calendar of announcements for annual postings on the HUB Oversee delivery and execution of HR communication plans and campaigns, providing information, guidance and coaching Ensure HR communication is aligned with the corporate communication strategy and the People Plan Coach, develop and empower team members to support the effective and timely execution of their daily roles and responsibilities Provide advice, coaching and constructively challenge teammates and stakeholders to elevate the quality and effectiveness of HR communications Establish and maintain HR Dayforce HUB delivery of standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent, efficient and aligned service across the organization Continuously improve the HR Dayforce HUB processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging technology and automation where available Collaborate with the HR leadership team to support and implement HR initiatives and projects that support the overall HR strategy and goals. Facilitate team training as required (i.e. Dayforce) Participate in systems testing and projects as required Support the development of the HR communications strategy in collaboration with the Director, HR Service Centre, HR Leadership and key functional stakeholders Align with the HR Leadership team on crisis communications and issues management Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in HR, Operations, Communications and Policy Provide strategic counsel and communications support regarding issues and opportunities facing the business What you have to offer: Undergraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or any other related field Minimum of 4 years of previous communications experience Successful track record of delivering strategic communications in a complex and fast-paced organization Work effectively with Senior Leadership and multiple stakeholders Ability to interact with all levels within the organization, manage difficult conversations and reach stakeholder alignment Analytical mindset and ability to diagnose situations, research and apply knowledge, develop solutions and implement recommendations Business acumen and ability to apply knowledge and insights for tailored communications strategies to all audiences Superior communication skills both oral and written in french and english (The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with peers in other provinces to develop procedures and processes to be implemented nationally. She will also have to interact regularly with her peers in other provinces, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada) Strong organizational and project management skills People Management & Coaching Skills#LI-MM1
