Job Summary

We have an exciting role open for a dedicated Human Resources professional, ready to become a contributor in the success of the business! The Manager – HR will partner with the Site HR Head and people managers to provide focused HR activities that contribute and link to the business strategy based out of Mahindra World City site, Chengalpattu. You will have an opportunity to  handle the full scope of HR activities in a multinational manufacturing facility.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Talent Management: Lead and deliver on talent acquisition and talent development to ensure our readiness for current and future needs are resourced with the best people. Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits) – Responsible for annual salary review, sales incentives and bonus schemes and benefits administration processes, ensuring alignment with global compensation framework and local market conditions. Culture Stewardship: Ensure ownership and drive engagement to outstanding levels through ongoing work on realizing an inclusive employee experience. Works Council Relations: Maintain effective and productive working relationships with Works Council representatives. Employee Advocate: Deliver consistent, relevant, and effective HR support that is essential to supporting our people and enabling the best employee experience on site. Systems and HR Programs Champion: Ensure the data accuracy of our people in Oracle HCM, coordinate monthly payroll & benefits, achieve our annual HR program cycles such as salary planning. HR Administration Manager: Ensuring effective administration of and compliance with all applicable policies, programs, data protection, employment and labor laws. Support with audits. Adhering to local and international Emerson Trade Compliance and Quality Management procedures, as well as the Emerson Ethics policy, with respect to all business activities. Who You Are:

You are trustworthy and diplomatic, good at handling confidential and personal information with appropriate discretion. You excel in representing Emerson’s interests and striking the right balance between being an HR Manager and an employee advocate.

For This Role, You Will Need: Excellent communication skills including fluency in both English & Tamil Knowledge of Central and State Labor and Employment Laws Prior HR experience ideally with a combination of operations, employee relations and business partnering  Knowledge of using HR Information Systems or other databases  Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost integrity. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Postgraduate in Business Management or Human Resources (or equivalent). 15 to 18 years of experience in a matrix international organization. Proven experience in improving processes and systems. Experience in facilitating learning and development programs. Experience of Collective Labor Agreements, Works Councils.
