Opportunity to be part of the Micro-Motion segment of Regal Rexnord and collaborate with the Plant Controller to perform all of the FP&A functions in alignment with GAAP. This position will be located at our West Chester facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead, prepare and present forecast on a monthly basis and support the Controller during the budget process done the last quarter of the year.
Lead accounting period close activity which will include preparation and review of journal entries, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, actual vs forecast variance analysis, monthly HFM/Tagetik submissions due to the Corporate Reporting team.
Analyzing and determining the cost effect of changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, rate schedules or services provided.
Maintaining standard costs on perpetual inventory records based on purchases, bills of materials and routings, rolling out yearly Standard Costs
Proactively review and improve current procedures and processes to ensure timely monthly close, accuracy of accounting entries, and operational efficiency.
Responsible for inventory costing including setting up and monitoring standard costing, inter- company transfer pricing overhead capitalization, PPV, E&O processes, ensure verification of physical inventory
Working capital monitoring and weekly reporting
Ensure site authority approval matrix is followed
Perform research and make recommendations for complex accounting scenarios
Assist in implementing, maintaining, and monitoring corporate accounting policies and procedures; and assist in internal control and process documentation
Manage assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members in delivering high quality, decision ready information to our business partners
Support the physical inventory process done in October of every year.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with prior experience interacting with varying levels of internal and external customers
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s in accounting or equivalent experience is required
CPA preferred
At least 4 years of manufacturing environment experience is required
Experience in Costing function and FP&A functions.
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP
Previous managerial experience preferred
Audit support experience preferred and public accounting experience a plus
Exposure to ERP a must, Oracle & Hyperion financial management experience preferred
