The Manager I, Hyderabad Hub Finance for BMS will be a highly collaborative Finance business partner. This exceptional team member will perform Finance & Tax activities for the market in BMS’s Hyderabad Hub and demonstrate the following attributes:

Deep understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and industry dynamics in the marketUp to date with the local tax related compliances and latest updatesOutstanding ability to forge strong partnerships with fellow Hub team members and cross-functional hub colleagues to provide high quality services in a timely fashionOpen communication and cooperation to ensure the FP&A Hub in Hyderabad remains an integral part of the Finance teams, aligned to broader vision and strategy, and contributes to the overall success of the Finance function and BMS

Successful candidates will possess excellent analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of experience (incl. articleship) is required.

The position will be based in the BMS’s Hyderabad Location (expected 50% in-person).

Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:

Tax activities 

Ownership of tax related (Direct & Indirect) periodical compliances in liaison with Tax CoEReview of vendor TDS/WHT deductions and support relevant site stakeholders during new vendor onboardingManagement of advance tax analysis and workings and liaising with Tax COE to facilitate timely tax remittancesCoordination and ownership of the tax audit from a site level

Relationship management and teaming 

Interacts with other Hub Finance team membersInteracts with the Tax CoE team across entities to ensure smooth functioning of the processInteracts with other functions operating out of the Hyderabad hub as their tax partnerServes as an inspirational and engaging team member who motivates and engages through clear execution of Finance priorities for the hubShares leading practices and learning with other regional sub-tower teamsEstablishes and maintains strong relationships with Site Finance Lead & Country Controller – Hyderabad, Senior Director, FP&A CoE Lead and Finance Director – Hyderabad, and other Hyderabad service delivery teamsHolds self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy 

Risk management 

Articulates material risks and opportunities and takes an active role supporting Hyderabad hub leads in designing and executing response or contingency plans

BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
